Australian born and Nashville based, Nash Chambers is a music Producer, Mixer and Manager, with his work infused with many genres such as Americana, Country, Rock, Folk, Pop and Blues.
Nash’s music productions have received more than 15x ARIA Awards (Aust’s Grammy equiv), 30x CMAA Awards )Aust’s CM equiv) and numerous gold, platinum and multi-platinum status. A good chunk of his work has been alongside his sister and Australian Musical Icon, Kasey Chambers. Their musical journey together includes countless awards, acknowledgements and adventures throughout Australia, United States and Europe over the past 30 years. Nash and Kasey’s work together in the studio has included making at least 10 albums (+ many single tracks) which has also included many world class musicians and guests along the way.
In addition to his work with Kasey, Nash’s studio credits also include: Jimmy Barnes, Troy Cassar-Daley, Paul Kelly, Archie Roach, Cold Chisel, Amy Shepard, Bliss n Eso, Steve Prestwich, James Reyne, Ross Wilson, Catherine Britt, Grizzle Train, Daniel Champagne, Angie Hart, Jedd Hughes, Hayes Carll, Casey Burgess, 19Twenty, The Waifs, Mustered Courage, Bill Chambers, Jess Hitchcock, Jamie McDell and many others.
He is also 5x CMAA Producer of the Year, CMAA Engineer of the Year, ARIA Producer of the Year Nominee, Musician and Songwriter, recent Instructor of Audio Engineering at Nashville’s historic Dark Horse Institute, and has extensive experience in Live Sound, Event Production and Artist Management.
Nash was also co-founder and producer of the Australian Americana Music Honours (in assoc with Jed Hilly - Americana Music Assoc Nashville, and iconic promoter Michael Chugg) held in 2018 & 2019 at Thornbury Theatre in Melbourne featuring artists such as Old Crow Medicine Show, Margo Price, Kasey Chambers, Bernard Fanning, Busby Marou, Valerie June, Diesel, Joshua Hedley, Shane Howard, Catherine Britt, Jordie Lane, Weeping Willows. This event has been on hold due to pandemic related logistics and travel restrictions.
Based in East Nashville Nash usually works from his Troubadour House Studio which features a healthy collection of modern and vintage gear.
